Privacy Policy

Easy_Reader is local-first. Imported documents, reading history, annotations, OCR output, and search indexes remain in the app sandbox.

• Document contents are processed on the device and are not uploaded to the developer or used for advertising.
• Read aloud uses compatible Apple voices installed on the device. Narrated passages are not sent to the developer or a third-party speech service.
• Document scanning and text recognition use Apple’s on-device frameworks.
• Smart Search runs on the device.
• Reading-position continuity uses the user’s private iCloud key-value store when enabled.
• Purchases are processed and verified by Apple through StoreKit.
• Easy_Reader does not include third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs and does not collect diagnostics for the developer.

Users can delete imported documents and their associated annotations from the library. Deleting the app removes its local sandbox data, subject to normal device backups and iCloud data managed by the user.
